As we noted elsewhere on this site, one of the great things about working for NHS 24 is that we can try and fit our hours round your life. We know that many of our staff, for family or personal reasons, would like to have fewer hours, at times of day which may seem unusual to some but are just right for their personal circumstances at the time.
We are really attuned to the need to provide flexibility for all the staff who work for us. This is supported for all staff by a number of policies. You can find a link to all our current policies below. Please take the time to read them through
In addition for nurse practitioners, nurse advisors and call handlers we also offer a variety of contractual hours and standard shift patterns with them. A combination of both the policies and the standard rotas we offer allow our staff to balance personal and other professional commitments with working for NHS 24.
The move to our new centre in Cardonald has necessitated a review of our current rotas, please discuss options with the recruitment team
