flower borders   NHS 24 Centre within NHS Orkney

NHS 24 is committed to working in partnership with territorial Health Boards to identify the best solutions for the provision of healthcare to the people of Scotland in the out of hours period. Now, NHS 24 is exploring opening a Remote Working site in Orkney.

The opening of a local centre allows us to offer our service shaped to local needs, and aids the provision of more joined up care between NHS 24 and NHS Orkney.

We are currently looking to speak to Band 6 nurses who may be interested in this special opportunity.

We recognise that those wishing to work very part-time hours with us may have difficulty in committing to the time and length of our current induction training programme, and so we are currently looking at tailoring this to differing needs.

If you want to find out more about working with NHS 24, visit the other pages on our website where you can find details of our CPD and training opportunities, policies, information on our other locations, or hear from some of our existing staff on their experiences of working for NHS 24. Alternatively, for an informal discussion about the role and the new centre you can call John Woodley, Clinical Services Manager on 07795 052 403.
